Focusing & Movement: The Dance of Stillness Within
How do we dissolve the ego’s illusions of separation? With movement and stillness.
Not movement with hurried steps, nor stillness crowded with thoughts. But discovering the dance of stillness within movement, and movement within stillness.
The ego lives in the story of separateness — separate from others, from the earth, from the Self it hides beneath.
For me, Focusing and Intuitive Movement come together as a way of exploring this inner dance.
I come into stillness and find my centre. The question “What is more core?” helps me move beyond the surface and sense into the deep, immeasurable stillness within.
I let my body move from that centre, my heart lead and my body speak.
Move to feel — dancing my pain, my longing, my love, my life. I let each movement arise naturally, without needing to know where it is going. I let the answer arrive not in thought, but in sensation.
I feel it, and I move with it.
Sequences of release move through my body, each one a felt shift. My body speaks, and I listen.
Then I let the music fade, and simply listen to my body coming back into stillness.
In that silence, separation dissolves — and what remains is presence.
